Hello All. This is Derrick Wales, aka Skywarn256. As the Screen Name mentions, I am a member of Skywarn – an avid one at that. Everytime there’s a storm in the area, you can almost bet I’m either 1)taking pix of it 2)monitoring it via radar (praying it becomes severe) 3)chasing it or 4)all the above simultaneously. No, I never want anyone EVER to get hurt. I love the thrill that the storms bring. I’m a weather freak – and a geek too. I am the county coordinator for CoCoRaHS in Giles Co., TN. I love blogging, chatting, chasing, sleeping, eating, and did I mention the weather?
